Plant nonwovens
Compostable plant nonwovens offer sustainable alternatives for certain applications in agriculture and horticulture where retrieval and recycling are not possible. Biodegradable and compostable nonwovens made from renewable raw materials are a sensible option here. These include nonwovens that coat seeds or protect fertilizers from moisture and temperature fluctuations. Mulch fleeces or protective tapes for trees are other applications.
