WHAT DO YOU ACTUALLY DO AS A

Industrial clerk

You will receive a diverse and exciting apprenticeship as  an industrial clerk with many key administrative topics such as sales, purchasing, financial accounting/controlling, production planning and human resources. An all-round view of all processes will be part of your training. The area of application of this apprenticeship is wide-ranging and will give you a good start to your professional life.
 

THEORY AND PRACTICE

LENGTH OF STUDIES:

3 years

Vocational school in block lessons (3 - 5 weeks)
 

YOUR PROFILE:

Completed secondary school leaving certificate, especially good performance in maths, German and English

Strong interest in business management contexts

Confident handling of MS Office programs

Reliable, careful way of working

Communication and teamwork skills
 

YOUR TASKS:

Sales: Order processing, writing offers and invoices, marketing tasks

Purchasing: Writing orders, conducting offer comparisons, negotiation techniques

Financial accounting: posting of business transactions, control of invoices, archiving

Business Administration: Participation in the Monthly Financial Statements, Controlling

Human resources: personnel marketing, recruitment, personnel inventory and demand analysis, time recording, keeping statistics
